Voluntourism in India
A conservation education and voluntourism programme that focuses on providing a grass level insight into tiger conservation in the fantastic Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. The Aim of the project is to demonstrate how tourism, conservation and community development go hand and hand. In addition to walking and vehicle based safaris, volunteers join projects at the local hospital, dairy, school and village to experience life at the edge of a tiger reserve. You are also taught to recognize animal track and sign, to use camera traps for monitoring wildlife and anti- poaching work.
Please contact us directly for details on the next schedule of the program. Minimum age for this is 16 years and maximum age is 60 years. Participants have to have a minimum fitness as walking and trekking are involved.
